These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Bleu Financial LLC (“Bleu”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By using this website you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

You must be at least 18 years old, and able to enter into a binding agreement, to use this site.

Bleu Financial LLC, doing business as Bleu Insurance Group, is a licensed insurance agency.

This website is an educational resource. It explains how insurance products work and shows trade-offs side by side. Its purpose is to help you understand your options well enough to have a better conversation with somebody — including with us.

It is not a marketplace, an application system or a transaction platform. You cannot buy anything on this site, and nothing here submits an application to an insurance company.

Everything published here is general educational information. It is written without knowledge of your circumstances, your finances, your health, your tax position or your goals, and it cannot take account of them.

Nothing on this website is:

• a recommendation that you buy, keep, change or surrender any insurance policy;
• individualised insurance, financial or investment advice;
• legal advice;
• tax advice;
• an offer or solicitation to sell any product in any jurisdiction.

Whether a product suits you depends on facts this website does not have. Decisions of that kind are worth discussing with a licensed insurance professional and, where tax or estate consequences are involved, with a qualified tax adviser or attorney.

Reading or otherwise using this site does not create an agency, advisory, brokerage or client relationship between you and us, and it does not create any relationship between you and an insurance company.

No application is made, no coverage is applied for, and no coverage is bound, by anything you do on this website. Coverage exists only when an insurance company has accepted an application and issued a policy on its own terms.

This website offers two tools: the Life Insurance Needs Calculator and the Life Insurance Quote Estimator. Other calculators and quizzes are not currently offered.

Any figure either of them produces is an educational estimate. It is not a quote from an insurance company, not an offer of coverage, not an application, and not a guarantee that you would be approved or offered any particular price. Only an insurance company can decide what you would actually pay, and it does so through its own underwriting.

Insurance products, their features, riders, guarantees, underwriting rules and pricing vary by insurance company, by product and by state, and change over time. A product described here may not be available where you live, and a feature described generally may work differently in a specific contract.

Nothing on this site guarantees your eligibility for any product, approval of any application, any particular premium, any particular rate classification, or any particular outcome. Guarantees associated with an insurance policy or annuity contract are the obligations of the issuing insurance company and depend on its claims-paying ability.

The terms of any policy or contract you are issued govern that policy, and they prevail over any general description on this website.

Some content here explains products that are securities — variable universal life, variable annuities and registered index-linked annuities — and concepts relating to retirement accounts and investing. That content exists so you can understand what those products are and how they differ from the ones we are licensed to discuss in a sales capacity.

Bleu Financial LLC is not a broker-dealer and is not a registered investment adviser. Nothing on this website is a securities recommendation, an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security, or investment advice, and no one at Bleu is acting as your investment adviser or your fiduciary through this site. Transacting in a variable product requires a properly licensed and registered representative and the regulated process that goes with it, which is not what this website provides.

You are responsible for the decisions you make, and for verifying anything here that matters to those decisions against the actual policy documents and, where appropriate, with a qualified professional.

You agree not to:

• use this site or its tools for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its calculation service, or any system or network connected to them;
• interfere with the operation of the site, including by making automated requests at a volume that degrades it for others, or by circumventing rate limits;
• scrape, harvest, copy or systematically extract the site’s content, methods or calculation outputs for republication or for building a competing product;
• reverse engineer or attempt to derive the models behind the tools;
• misrepresent yourself, or present material from this site as your own or as the work of somebody else.

The content of this website — the writing, the comparisons, the design, the calculators and quizzes, their published methods, and the software behind them — belongs to us or to our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws.

You may read the site, print or save pages for your own personal use, and quote short extracts with attribution and a link. You may not republish, redistribute or commercially exploit the content, or use it to train a model or build a derivative product, without our written permission.

Third-party names, product names and marks appearing on this site belong to their respective owners, and their appearance does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by them.

We cite regulators, government agencies, industry bodies and other primary sources, and link to them so you can check what we say. We do not control those websites, are not responsible for their content, and a link is not an endorsement. Material we cite may itself be updated or superseded after we cite it.

We take accuracy seriously: factual claims are checked against primary sources and cited with the date they were checked. We do not, however, warrant that everything here is accurate, complete or current. Rules, rates, products and regulations change, and pages can fall behind.

We may change, suspend or remove any part of this site, including any tool, at any time and without notice. We are not obliged to keep any particular content or feature available.

The site and its tools are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that any estimate, projection or figure produced by a tool will prove correct.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising out of your use of this website or your reliance on anything published on it.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case the limitations above apply only to the extent permitted, and the rest of these terms continue to apply.

These limits concern this website. They do not affect the obligations of any insurance company under a policy it has issued, or any obligation we may owe you under a separate engagement.

We may update these terms. The current version always lives at this address, and the “last updated” date at the top changes when the substance does — not when the site is rebuilt. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, that provision is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest remains in force. Our not enforcing a provision on one occasion is not a waiver of it.
